French Vintage Hot Air Balloon Posters

According to Wikipedia, the Hot Air Balloon is the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology. The Montgolfier brothers launched their first model back in September 1782 in Annonay, France and they were, in their time, the most significant invention of the human flying machines.

Colorful Vintage Birds

I love birds and I remember when I was in primary school my mom used to draw and paint all the bird’s illustrations for our projects, she is a wonderful illustrator and I wish I had saved those drawings.  Anyway today I bring you two colorful birds that brought me back some memories about the beautiful illustrations my mom used to make.   I found these lovely two in a vintage book of birds.  Aren’t they beautiful?

Paris & London Fashion 1810-1815

This weekend has been for vintage & retro fashion graphics and today I present you some samples of the popular fashion style in Paris and London back in 1810 and 1815.   I have in mind one project for these ladies, I’ll share it soon.

1956 Fashion Trends

Today’s graphics are some beautiful fashion plates from a 1956 magazine.  I love the dresses the magazine is full of ideas and patterns to do the dresses.  I am thinking of creating some digital scraps with them.
